A little practice, from any bar.

  1. Choose a score

Pick a basic study or a piece, then open the bar you want to practise. New here? Open How to play from the home screen and try the three-note tutorial.

  2. Listen with Auto

Auto starts playback. Tap the BPM beside it to adjust the tempo; Reset restores the score’s default. Repeat and the optional count-in are in the practice screen’s Settings.

  3. Play it yourself

On the screen keyboard, red keys are due now and blue keys come next. Play chord notes together and keep long notes held. You can switch visual aids on or off in Settings.

Drag the bar below the score to move to another measure. Use the hand icon to choose one hand or both, and tap a displayed chord name to hear the chord.

Common questions

Can I use SoundPon at a real piano?

Yes. Tap the keyboard icon to hide the screen keys and give the score more room. You can slow Auto down and play along. SoundPon does not use the microphone or grade sound from a real piano.

Why is there no sound, or a delay?

Check your device’s volume and audio output. If a Bluetooth device is connected, try the built-in speaker or wired headphones. Notes play even when Silent Mode is on.

When does a bar count towards my progress?

Bars played without wrong notes or early releases are recorded. For two-hand scores, play both hands to record progress. Using visual aids is fine. Listening to Auto alone does not count.

Do I need internet access or an account?

Practice works offline. There is no account, advertising or in-app purchase. Opening external pages, such as support or score credits, and sending a support email require an internet connection.

How do I reset my practice record?

Open Settings using the gear icon on the home screen, then choose Practice record → Reset practice record. Confirm to reset it. Preferences such as language and note names are kept.

How do I change the language or note labels?

Open the home screen’s Settings → Language & notes. To switch score labels, chords or key colours on or off, use Settings on the practice screen.
