Privacy Policy

SoundPon stores practice records and preferences on your device. The app has no feature that sends them to a developer-operated server. There are no accounts, ads, tracking or microphone recordings.
1. Scope
This policy covers SoundPon (おとポン), the iPhone and iPad app provided by hasumitomonobu, its support pages, and support enquiries.
2. Information stored by the app
The app saves practice progress, results, resume positions, and preferences such as language, note names, tempo and display settings on your device so you can continue practising. It does not automatically send this information to the developer.
The app does not collect account details, location or contacts. It contains no advertising, analytics or third-party tracking SDKs. It does not use the microphone or record or transmit sound from a real piano.
3. Retention, deletion and backups
Local records and preferences are kept until they are reset, the app is deleted, or the data is otherwise removed. To reset practice records, open Settings from the home screen, then Practice record → Reset practice record. Preferences such as language are kept.
Choosing Delete App on your device also removes the app’s local data. Offloading the app may keep its data.
Depending on your device and Apple settings, app data may be included in an iCloud or computer backup and restored later. SoundPon has no developer-operated cloud sync. Manage backup retention and deletion through Apple’s settings. See Apple’s explanation of backups.
4. Apple services
Apple processes App Store purchases and payments; the developer does not receive your credit card details. App Store information and operating-system diagnostics are handled through Apple’s services according to your settings. See Apple’s Privacy Policy.
5. Support enquiries
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any information you choose to attach. We use these to respond and to investigate and fix problems, not for advertising or sale.
We use an email service to send, receive and store correspondence. Support information is kept as long as needed to handle enquiries or meet legal obligations, and deleted when no longer needed for those purposes. Contact us below to request access, correction or deletion of your support information.
6. This website and external links
This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. We do not add analytics, advertising or tracking cookies to these pages. GitHub may process access information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and protect the site. See the GitHub General Privacy Statement.
When you open an external website from the app or these pages, that website’s privacy policy applies.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, we will publish the revised policy and its updated date on this page.
