Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy covers Fraction PON (ぶんすうポン), the iPhone and iPad app provided by hasumitomonobu, its support pages, and support enquiries.

2. Information stored by the app

To let you continue playing, the app saves completed puzzles, the current board, recent move history, cut records, and preferences for language, fraction reading, music, sound effects and haptics on your device. It does not automatically send this information to the developer. Hints are also calculated on your device.

The app does not collect names, account details, location, contacts or advertising identifiers. It contains no advertising, analytics or third-party tracking SDKs.

Fraction reading uses the device’s text-to-speech feature. The app does not record audio through the microphone or request access to the camera, photos, contacts or location.

There is no feature for entering or posting children’s personal information or for communicating with other users.

3. Retention, deletion and backups

Local records and preferences are kept until they are reset, the app is deleted, or the data is otherwise removed. From the home screen, open Menu > Reset progress and confirm to clear completed puzzles, the current board, move history and cut records. Language and audio preferences remain unchanged.

Choosing Delete App on your device also removes the app’s local data. Offloading the app may keep its data.

Depending on your device and Apple settings, app data may be included in an iCloud or computer backup and restored later. Fraction PON has no developer-operated cloud sync. Manage backup retention and deletion through Apple’s settings. See Apple’s explanation of backups.

4. Apple services

Apple processes App Store purchases and payments; the developer does not receive your credit card details. App Store information and operating-system diagnostics are handled through Apple’s services according to your settings. See Apple’s Privacy Policy.

5. Support enquiries

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any information you choose to attach. We use these to respond and to investigate and fix problems, not for advertising or sale.

We use an email service to send, receive and store correspondence. Support information is kept as long as needed to handle enquiries or meet legal obligations, and deleted when no longer needed for those purposes. Contact us below to request access, correction or deletion of your support information.

6. This website and external links

This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. We do not add analytics, advertising or tracking cookies to these pages. GitHub may process access information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and protect the site. See the GitHub General Privacy Statement.

When you open an external website from the app or these pages, that website’s privacy policy applies.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, we will publish the revised policy and its updated date on this page.
